Colombia's Data Infrastructure Governance Model

In collaboration with the Digital Transformation Directorate of CAF - Development Bank of Latin America, the PIT Policy Lab team worked closely with the Administrative Department of the Presidency of the Republic (DAPRE), the National Planning Department (DNP), the Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies (MinTIC) and other agencies, institutions, organizations and relevant actors of the data ecosystem in Colombia and Latin America, to propose the Governance Model of the Colombian State Data Infrastructure (MGID).

The proposed Model responds to the country's development priorities, the current situation diagnosed about the data community in Colombia, the existing infrastructure and initiatives, the data life cycle, as well as examples of good practices and international success stories.
