Mauricio is an expert in citizen security and technology, with more than ten years of experience working in international organizations, within the Mexican government and in the Latin America region. He is a member of the board of the Foretell program at the Center for Security and Emerging Technology at Georgetown University, and part of the United Nations Regional Experts Group for Public-Private Partnerships to combat trafficking in persons. He holds a Master in Public International Law from Leiden University and a BA in International Relations from UNAM.

Saiph is the co-Founder and co-Director of the UNAM Civic Innovation Lab. Her research focuses on developing A.I. based tools to power a better future of work while fighting Techno-Authoritarianism.  She was recognized as one of the 35 innovators under 35 by the MIT tech review. She holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from UNAM, and a masters and Ph.D. in Computer Science from UC, Santa Barbara. She has worked at the University of Washington, Intel Labs, Microsoft Bing, and as a crowd research worker at Stanford.

Edgar is an economist committed to Sustainable Development. He has a degree in Economics and a Master of Science in Natural Resource Management from the University of Guadalajara. He has worked as an analyst, project manager, and independent consultant, and has extensive experience researching on topics such as: international economy and economic growth, socio-economic impact of emerging technologies, and resilience of agri-food systems. He is currently Professor of Economics at ITESO. He is also a volunteer at ExpertODS, an initiative of the SDSN Mexico that seeks to advance the implementation of the SDGs and the 2030 Agenda in Mexico.

Elina Castillo is an expert feminist lawyer in human rights and public international law, committed to using her voice and skills to help build a more just and inclusive world. Elina combines her thematic expertise in human rights and digital activism with over 7 years of experience advising government, civil society and international organizations to develop public policies, manage projects, design advocacy and communication campaigns, and facilitate workshops and spaces for dialogue.

Gisse Peralta is a Latin American learnpreneur, founder of Aurora Lab: Laboratory of Learning, Education and Technology. She is a self taught Learning Engineer in training with a specialization in intersectional perspective of gender and sustainability. Gisse has more than 10 years working in the design and facilitation of learning experiences, educational narratives and technological development for government institutions, international corporations, social enterprises and startups.

Jorge Martin del Campo is a Physician, Public Health Practitioner, and Data Scientist highly passionate about implementing innovative technologies in healthcare and public health. Jorge is a health technology strategist with over six years of experience in providing advisory services to executive leadership at hospitals and health systems. He holds a Medical Doctorate from UNAM and a master's in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University. He has worked at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health as a Researcher.

Carlos has expertise in academy, private sector and public sector. He holds a BA in Political Science and Public Administration from UNAM, a BA in Political Science from Warsaw University and he is close to defend a PhD from Tallinn University. Since his master studies, he has been specialised in e-Government. Later on, his practical work and research took him to the fields of public innovation, international digital diplomacy and Govtech. He has been actively collaborating in the creation and development of digital laws and digital projects for public good.

Andrea is an expert in data intelligence and innovation. She was Deputy General Director at the National Digital Strategy in Mexico, responsible for the Open Data national policy. She is a registered trainer for the Open Data Institute in the UK. She has over ten years of experience in the public sector. She holds a BA in Political Science and Public Administration and a Master's degree in Policy Management from Georgetown University (USA).

Alberto Rodríguez is a Senior Program Manager working with the New Practice Lab and the PIT University Network at New America. He has spent the past six years working directly in digital technology and policy from different angles. He led a working group at the Beeck for Center Social Impact & Innovation, working with more than 20 senior digital government leaders to bring human-centered design techniques to public policy. Previously, he served as international advisor to the National Digital Strategy at the Office of the President in Mexico. He holds a master’s degree from the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University and a degree in international relations from ITAM.

Mariana has a master’s in Public Administration and Public Policy from Tec de Monterrey, where she also holds a B.A. in International Relations. Likewise, she has studies in migration, governance, communication, and impact investment. She has more than five years of experience in Mexico’s Public Administration and was a Project Manager in the United Nations Programme for Development (UNDP), where she led the Financial Inclusion Model. She is currently a consultant at the same United Nations agency. Recently, she was an independent candidate for the Local Congress in Monterrey, Nuevo León.

Miguel is a psychologist and data analyst specialized in interpreting computational methods from a psychosocial perspective. He has analyzed Guadalajara’s public transportation system and implemented interventions within a youth detention center. He has also collaborated with MIT’s Enterprise Forum, participating on a study dedicated to analyzing entrepreneurial ecosystems. Lastly, he has years of experience in utilizing applied neuroscience and developing research for a consultancy agency that integrates big data with social sciences, having provided healthcare services to over 200 people and assessed over 50 business and marketing strategies.

Degree in Economics from the Universidad Veracruzana (Mexico). PhD in Economics from the University of La Laguna (Spain) in the area of Economic Analysis and with a specialty in Financial Economics. Currently, he is completing a Master's Degree in Public Policy at the University of the Republic (Uruguay). He has worked as a teacher and researcher in financial economics in Mexico, Spain and Uruguay. Evaluator and project manager in international cooperation for development and R&D. He is founder and former president of the Uruguay Chapter of Red Global MX. He is currently the Regional Coordinator of the network for Latin America and the Caribbean.

Maia Levy Daniel is a technology, public policy, and regulation specialist. She is a research affiliate at the Center of Technology and Society (CETyS) at Universidad de San Andrés in Argentina and she was Director of Research and Public Policy at Centro Latam Digital in Mexico, among other relevant positions in the field. Maia has been working for various sectors and has focused her work on artificial intelligence governance issues, platform regulation, and content moderation. She holds an LL.M. from Harvard University, a Master's in Public Policy from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella in Argentina, and a Law degree from the same university.

Zaira, as a Strategic and Service Designer, has experience in several projects within diverse industries like healthcare: hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, patients associations, vaccination services, and digital health solutions. She has also collaborated in the financial industry: fintech and investment solutions, and aviation and hospitality industries. She is now part of Globant, has a master's degree from IED Barcelona, and a certificate in Behavioral Economics from the National Laboratory of Public Policy. She’s also part of the OpenIDEO Mexico City Chapter where she, among other volunteers, ideates social projects from a Human-Centered design perspective.

Eva is a scientific writer, biologist, philosopher and historian of science, aiming to bridge the gap between science, art and technology with high-quality academic research. She has led research teams in the public and private sectors, designing solutions for over +6 top companies in Mexico and writing +150 papers and +200 speeches for federal and state government officials. Eva provides her team with high standards of honesty, rigor, transparency and open communication, caring for all participants and subjects of research. As a guardian of information, her main goal is to provide her clients with practical and rigorous studies to help them spread their ideas.

Edgar is a physicist and developer working to generate high impact city science solutions with a comprehensive set of skills spawning from the social and exact sciences and solid technological background of over 20 years. As Innovation Leader at world-class consulting firms and founder of Hadox Human Networks, he has generated ideas, developed programs and integrated communities for +75 top companies. Edgar has also developed +10 artificial intelligence programs that helped raise productivity by 25% in their respective fields. His expertise as an urban scientist and machine learning has enabled him to train future generations of professionals and lead scientific projects in the area of IA and Complex Systems. He participated as a mentor for young developers in various universities such as MIT, and as a speaker in +20 conferences. 

Cesar Contreras contributes to several projects pertaining to the ITC application for the benefit of the people. He worked for the Ministry of Communications and Transport of Mexico on projects related to new technologies, cybersecurity, and public policies to promote digital transformation and inclusion. In the Permanent Mission of Mexico to the United Nations (UN) in New York,  he advised on the definition and financing of the 2030 Agenda and negotiated UN reform initiatives, including its revised ICT strategy. César currently works as an independent consultant on digitalization, taking part in the development of projects on broadband connectivity and SMEs digitalization for organizations such as the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB). César was a Fulbright-García Robles grantee. He holds a master's degree in Public Administration, with a concentration in Economic and Political Development, from Columbia University in New York, and a master's degree in Information Technology Management from Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico.

Throughout his professional career, Adolfo has consolidated himself as an expert in Cybersecurity and Strategy; Public Policies, Regulation and Strategies on Cybersecurity and Technology; International Relations and International Security. He has also collaborated with embassies of some countries of the European Union and diplomatic training centers on issues related to analysis of the state of Cybersecurity in Mexico, international instruments and initiatives for Internet Security and the creation of a security agenda for Mexico. Adolfo actively participates in third sector organizations for the promotion of initiatives that encourage leadership, education, and culture on cybersecurity.

Feminist. Tatiana is the Gender and Technology Director of Puentech Lab. She has a Bachelor's in International Relations from ITAM, is a specialist in Public Policy and Gender from FLACSO, and has a Master's in Social Studies of Gender from Lund University. She was the first person in Mexico and Latin America to win the GRÓ-GEST Fellowship sponsored by UNESCO. She has taught courses and given training on Gender for the National Union of Education Workers in Quintana Roo and Nuevo León, for the State Human Rights Commission in Sonora, the National Democratic Institute, and the Sinaloa Women's Institute, among others. She was an evaluator of social projects with a gender perspective for INDESOL. Tatiana has experience in International Projects in Pakistan and Iceland and has worked with the public sector in CNDH, INFONAVIT, and the Senate of the Republic.

Evelyn has more than 18 years of professional experience leading projects of corporate innovation in multinational companies in Mexico, Hong Kong, and France, including Valeo, Faurecia, Intel, and Thales Corporation. She has collaborated as a consultant with various NGOs and academic institutions, including the Global Institute for Sustainability of EGADE Business School. Evelyn works as an academic at the Tecnológico de Monterrey in the Faculty of Business and Entrepreneurship, teaching Entrepreneurship and Innovation and Management of Business Innovation Projects. She is the General Director of the Tech4inclusion initiative, a laboratory of ideas and agile, innovative, and inclusive methodologies. She is currently the Leader of the Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion Committee of the Institute of High Technology of Jalisco.

Arturo specializes in planning Smart Tourist Destinations and developing and implementing strategic use of data (mobile data, point of sale terminals, and social networks) and Artificial Intelligence in the tourism sector. During 2017-2019 he was Director of Regional Analysis in the Ministry of Tourism at the federal level. Arturo is currently a Consultant at the World Tourism Organization, where he has advised on strengthening the National Tourism Strategy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He has been an international speaker on the topics of Tourism intelligence systems in the data economy and Smart destinations: new tourism paradigm. He has a degree in Communication Sciences and Techniques from the Inter-American University for Development (UNID) with honors and a Master's in Journalism and Public Affairs from CIDE.
